Reconciliation. Restoration. Relationship.
The Foundations for Counseling Ministry (FCM) is a 6-month course for DTS graduates, which focuses on discovering God's original identity for the student, and equipping them with tools for counseling ministries into wounded lives of individuals and communities throughout the world.
Lecture Phase: Builds on the original identity of the student with topics including: Identity, Active Listening, Renewing the Mind, the Divine Plumbline, Theophostic Prayer Ministry, Sexuality/Abuse, Trauma, Grief, Teaching & Ministry Development, and the Myers Briggs.
Outreach Phase: Students will travel in teams or do individual internships in a cross cultural setting. It provides them with opportunities to practice counseling skills and to minister to people in real-life situations, meeting them where the need exists.

Outreach Phase: $1,895 USD grounds fees (for most locations) + Airfare
