School of Biblical Studies
The Goal of the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) is the actualization of God's word, not only in your personal life, but also in the nations and all spheres of society. SBS exists to encourage and enable you to go and teach the implications of the Word and share the freedom that it brings.
SBS is a nine month course training you to study the Bible using the inductive study method. Learn to:
- Observe what the Bible says
- Interpret it in light of context, history, culture and the original audience
- Apply the living and active word of God to your own life
SBS staff will meet regularly with students to aid in personal and spiritual growth as students go deeper in their understanding of Scripture and in their application of the inductive method.
Prerequisites: Completion of the YWAM-DTS (Discipleship Training School and Field Assignment -- IDS 701/702) or YWAM-CDTS (Crossroads Discipleship Training School -- IDS 703/704). In the School of Biblical Studies, SBS I is a prerequisite for SBS II, and SBS II is a prerequisite for SBS III.
Credits: Thirty-six (36) semester-equivalent credits will be earned upon successful completion of the School of Biblical Studies I, II, III (CCM 311/312/313). These credits may be applied to a U of N degree program or transferred partially or fully to some other colleges and universities.
Cost: $7,200 USD ($2,400 due each quarter)

These two things are what are going to bring freedom to individuals and freedom to the nations.
